Still wet, but along came the sunshine!
Uprooted trees were chopped up and left at the side of the pathways, while many foreign workers were around with mountains of dung (fertilizer) in preparation of planting new instant trees. How long will they last this time?
#1 First shot of the day and I forgot to turn on the flash! –.–“” The little one shaked off the water droplet and turned away after that, so thats the only shot I have! You can actually see the rest of the park through the water droplet. lol
#2 Molt of Huntsman Spider (I think). It’s covered with morning dew, so things got quite reflective there.
#3 A closer look at the lifeless thingy
#4 A very common sight in Admiralty Park, just stare hard at any of the little hammock webs on the ground early in the morning. They’re covered with dew and easy to spot, and there’d usually be a wolf spider within.
#5 An ant hugs onto a huge water droplet, it looked dead though 🙁
#6 Wasps gathered around their nests for NDP rehearsals. Odd formation with 4 of them sticking out in different directions!! The nest was under an arched leaf and very dark, a flash was positioned above the leaf to illuminate the top of the nest.
#7 When you see a wild ginger flower, there’s a good chance that a crab spider lies within, quietly waiting for it’s prey. There was a chance of a battle earlier as a wasp was messing around just 1cm away from this female crab spider, but it flew away unscathed.
#8 Record shot of an Assassin Bug. Yet to find it’s famous pierce-thru-the-prey stunt.
#9 A little orb web spider with prey
The rest of the shooters went ahead in front of me so I didn’t manage to leech much this time. lol. Hoping for more shots next time!
