A Harvestman in 3D!
This Harvestman has a matte surface and when viewed close enough, looks like a gummi sweet. The way it moves also resembles that of a tarantula. Found it running around on a pile of dead leaves, and played dead as I approached.
#1 Rocking the Harvestman
#2 The still shot. It tends to cover it’s face in a guarded stance
#3 Closely guarding the face!
#4 Trying to peep at it’s face but it was always blocked!
#5 Side view of the Harvestman
#6 From behind. That pile of poop does not belong to the Harvestman!
Next subject that I experimented on is what looked like an ornamental tree trunk spider, but found on a white wall and well camouflaged with a white body. We also found some other spiders along the walls, or rather, pillars of a flyover of BKE.
#7 Approaching the fella slowly
#8 Closeup on it’s face. Looks like a shaved symbol on it’s head!!
#9 Another 3D animation attempt on this spider.
#10 Found some of these tiny spiders nearby. At first I though they were the spiderlings. But noticed the swollen palps (the black part that looks like boxing gloves) and thought they could just be the males, which can typically be much smaller than the female.
#11 Found an orb weaver, together with a little one
#12 It seemed busy twisting around at times, so I’m gonna have record shots from all angles, starting from the side!
#13 Failed attempt to have a closeup at it’s face
#14 A view underneath the orb weaver
